It is intended for chlorine or saltwater pools and spas. The pool-side connection is 1 1/2" FPT, and the hot-water connection is 1" FPT.
Its in-line shell-and-tube design transfers heat indirectly from a hot-water circuit or steam line to the pool or spa for a steady, continuous temperature. At a 60°C (140°F) temperature differential between the inlet and hot water, it provides up to 200 kBtu/hr (200K) of heating capacity with minimal startup delay.
