It has a 1/2-inch (0.5 Inch) outside diameter, listed as 12.7mm, and a 0.60mm wall. The annealed tubing meets ASTM A269 standards and is specified for high-temperature use up to +1600°F. It can be bent and cold-formed without cracking, then cut with standard tubing tools.
Uses include food-grade and industrial fluid transfer, custom plumbing, automotive coolant lines, compressed air systems, craft breweries, commercial refrigeration and additive manufacturing equipment. The mirror-polished surface resists buildup. It accepts AN/JIC flare fittings, sold separately, and comes with protective shipping caps.
