No rating yet(0 reviews)Unbranded model 1430-ys-003 is a 30 Amp, 240V Y-splitter cord listed under EV Chargers as sku-18279411765, UPC 769212348811. Its NEMA 14-30P male plug connects to a 14-30 outlet and branches to a 10-30R outlet and a 14-50R outlet. The title specifies a 3/10 AWG STW cord measuring 2.5FT; the description specifies 4/10 gauge STW wiring.
The 125/250V, 4-prong plug is for newer electric dryers made after 1996. The 50 Amp 14-50R connector is compatible with EV/RV charging, while the 10-30R connector can power older dryers made before 1996 and compatible equipment that does not require a 30A/240V connection with a neutral. Use only one outlet at a time.
The NEMA 14-30 supply is limited to 30A, so configure connected equipment for 30A or less. For EV charging, apply the 80% breaker-capacity limit and set the EVSE or vehicle to 24A or less. The cord has molded connectors, coated copper wiring and a flame-retardant, UV-resistant, water-resistant jacket for indoor or outdoor use.
It is ETL Listed and is also described for portable level 2 EV chargers.
