Designed as a direct replacement, each battery matches the original's size and thickness. It uses A++ battery cells, a battery wrap, an aluminum casing and a smart IC chip. According to the supplied quality-control information, the pack endures over 800 charge cycles.

A built-in microchip protects against overcharging, overdischarging, short circuits and overheating. For quality issues, the seller offers a replacement or refund and says its technical and customer service team will resolve satisfaction issues within 24 hours. No printed manual is included; instruction videos are available on YouTube.

Batteries may arrive with little or no charge, so charge them fully before first use if the radio will not power on. The seller recommends fully discharging and recharging the battery for the first three cycles to help maximize battery life.
