Designed for use with automotive, acid, gel and lithium batteries and built for straightforward operation. Supports capacitive-load, high-current start and automatically recognizes battery voltage. Features temperature compensation that automatically adjusts charge and discharge parameters to help prolong battery life. A built-in over-temperature protection reduces charging power when the temperature exceeds the preset value so the charging current returns to the rated level. Similarly, if solar panel output rises such that charging current would exceed the rated current, the controller automatically reduces charging power to bring the charging current back to the rated value.
