It contains .9999 pure silver and features simulated Italian red coral. Mintage is limited to 5,500 coins. The obverse depicts King Charles III in an effigy by Steven Rosati, framed by Renaissance-style motifs.

Tony Bianco designed the reverse: the Stella d'Italia appears with simulated red coral, Roman columns and Colosseum-inspired arches. Olive branches, oak leaves, maple leaves and repeated Stella d'Italia motifs represent peace, abundance, strength and the connection between Italian and Canadian cultures.

The coin comes with a certificate of authenticity in a black Royal Canadian Mint-branded clamshell and black box, and is guaranteed by the Mint.
