This 2022 Niue $2 Disney Lady and the Tramp collectible coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver. It is an APMEXclusive® release with a worldwide mintage of 15,000. The sovereign coin is backed by the Niue government and officially licensed by Disney. It comes in protective packaging; multiples of 20 come in plastic tubes, and multiples of 200 come in Monster Boxes. The obverse shows Ian Rank-Broadley's likeness of Queen Elizabeth II with the country and face value. The reverse depicts Lady and Tramp sharing spaghetti, along with the metal content, purity and Disney copyright. The 1955 film, based on the story "Happy Dan, The Cynical Dog" from a 1945 Cosmopolitan magazine, follows Lady, a Cocker Spaniel from an upper-middle-class home, and Tramp, a stray. After a baby arrives and her owners go on vacation, Lady must live with Aunt Sarah and her Siamese cats. Tramp rescues her from a muzzle, shows her life without a collar and takes her to an Italian restaurant. There, the owner serves them a candlelit spaghetti-and-meatballs dinner in the alley, leading to the shared-noodle kiss shown on the coin.
