What this unit is: A professionally refurbished factory radio for the 2008 Saturn Vue that has been upgraded to stream music from Bluetooth-capable devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.). The unit has been cleaned, serviced as needed, tested, and unlocked for plug-and-play use. Unlocked at our Richmond facility: This radio has been unlocked here at our Richmond location so, in most cases, you can install it without making the usual dealer trip for VIN pairing. Note, however, that vehicles equipped with Bose or other specialty sound systems may still require a dealer visit to complete configuration for proper operation. Bluetooth details and operation: Stream audio from apps such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, and others by selecting the Aux source after pairing. Some devices require a passkey to complete pairing; the code is "0000." This upgrade provides full, crisp audio playback and preserves all factory sound controls on the radio. Important: Bluetooth here is audio-streaming only — it does not support phone call handling because calls require a microphone-enabled Bluetooth system. Installation notes and restrictions: The radio is unlocked and ready to install the first time. Once installed and paired to a specific vehicle VIN, the radio will be locked to that VIN; moving it to another vehicle will require unlocking again.
