Built from high-grade anticorrosive stainless steel, this heat exchanger resists rust and saltwater, making it well suited for chlorine or salt water swimming pools and spas. The pool-side connection uses 1 1/2" FPT, while the hot-water inlet uses 1" FPT. The shell-and-tube, in-line configuration provides continuous, indirect heat transfer between a hot water or steam circuit and any pool or spa, keeping temperatures steady. Designed around a 60°C (140°F) temperature differential between the heat source and pool inlet, the unit delivers 200 kBtu/hour of heating capacity and produces usable heat almost immediately.
