The conductors are annealed (soft) copper in a compressed strand construction and are insulated with heat- and moisture-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC). A nylon jacket covers the insulation for added durability and protection. Designed for use in conduit and table trays, this wire is appropriate for services, feeders and branch circuits and is also suitable for machine tool, appliance, and control circuit wiring. Its combination of strength, hardness and flexibility makes installation straightforward in residential, commercial and industrial applications, including grounding.
