Its 1400W infrared heater provides supplemental heat for spaces up to 400 sq. ft. The flame effect can run without heat, with 4 brightness levels for use throughout the 365 days of the year.
There are 11 temperature settings from 64°F to 82°F, a 1–9 hour timer, an infrared remote, and touch controls at the top right. Safety features include an automatic overheat cutoff and a backup fuse; the unit has CSA/UL certifications. It has matte-black metal and natural wood accents and can be used as an insert or a freestanding heater.
