Overview: The Rockville CC8-SUB is an 8" in-ceiling subwoofer designed for commercial and residential environments including conference rooms, offices, schools, churches, retail stores, other commercial applications, and home audio systems. It installs in drywall or ceiling tile using the supplied rough-in bracket. Power & Transformer: Built-in 70V transformer with selectable taps: 50w, 25w, 12.5w, 6.25w for distributed audio systems. There is a bypass option to run the woofer at 8 Ohm with 100w RMS power handling and 200w peak. Performance & Components: Frequency response: 38Hz-300Hz. Sensitivity: 89B (1w@1m). 30 oz magnet provides robust low-frequency performance. Detachable Phoenix-style terminals accept standard speaker wire to simplify wiring and installation.
