The 4340 chrome-moly steel bar is described as 200 percent stronger than standard 1020 stainless steel and 92 percent stronger than 4130 chrome-moly, with a high strength-to-weight ratio, tensile strength and impact resistance for high torque and rough terrain.
Heavy-gauge neoprene CV-joint boots are described as more puncture resistant than rubber and more flexible and protective than thermoplastic, with abrasion, oil and grease resistance. Recommended for intense mud use, the axles have induction heat-treated bearings and moly grease packed into the boots. Their dynamic drive angle exceeds 40 degrees.
