Sixity XTA 2 pc front left and right axles fit the 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 4X4 (A05MH50AB, A05MH50FB). The 4340 chrome-moly steel bar is described as 200 percent stronger than standard 1020 stainless steel and 92 percent stronger than 4130 chrome-moly. Chrome-moly contains chromium and molybdenum; chromium is the hardest metal on the Mohs scale.

The bar has a high strength-to-weight ratio, tensile strength, and impact resistance for high-torque use on rough terrain. Heavy-gauge neoprene CV boots resist punctures better than rubber and offer more flexibility and environmental protection than thermoplastic boots, as well as abrasion and oil/grease resistance. Induction heat-treated bearings reduce friction and strengthen the CV joints.

The boots contain moly grease for high temperatures and loads. The dynamic drive angle exceeds 40 degrees. These CNC-machined axles are manufactured under ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards and arrive assembled with inboard and outboard universal CV joints for installation. They are recommended for intense mudding.
