The 4340 chrome-moly steel bar is described as 200 percent stronger than standard 1020 stainless steel and 92 percent stronger than 4130 chrome-moly, with a high strength-to-weight ratio, tensile strength and impact resistance for high-torque off-road use.

Heavy-gauge neoprene CV boots are designed to resist punctures better than rubber and provide more flexibility and environmental protection than thermoplastic boots; they also resist abrasion, oil and grease and are designed for longer wear. Recommended for intense mud riding, the axles have induction heat-treated bearings to reduce friction and strengthen the CV joints.

High-temperature, high-load-bearing moly grease is packed into the boots. The CNC-machined axles have a dynamic drive angle of over 40 degrees and are manufactured under ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards. They arrive fully assembled with inboard and outboard universal CV joints for installation.
