This 2 Pack contains 6061 T6 aluminum plates advertised as 8 x 8 x 5/16 Inch and measuring approximately 7-7/8 x 7-7/8 x 5/16 inches (200 x 200 x 8MM). Each plate is 8mm thick. The heat-treatable alloy has high hardness, strength and corrosion resistance, along with good welding, electroplating, oxidation and processing characteristics.
The plates are cut to an even thickness with flat, smooth surfaces free of burrs and scratches. Protective film covers both sides to help prevent cracks. Suitable for engineering and structural work, including aviation, ships, automobiles, construction, elevators, transportation, electronics, aerospace and precision machining.
The 5/16 inch aluminum sheet is described as more durable than other aluminum sheet.
