Firestone FIREHAWK INDY 500 Black Tires sku-3051077307

This set of 2 Black Firestone FIREHAWK INDY 500 Tires by Vehicle (sku-3051077307) is sized 255/35R19 96W and is also listed as FS012700 / 255/35/19 / 2553519. The Firehawk Indy 500 is an ultra-high-performance summer tire for sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans.

Its silica-enhanced Long Link Carbon tread compound and asymmetric tread use large independent shoulder blocks for dry cornering and handling. A center groove with Pulse Groove Technology helps evacuate water. Together with the tread compound and two additional circumferential grooves, it provides shorter wet stopping distances than its predecessor.

The tire is designed for wet and dry performance and has a Standard Mileage Warranty. Firestone began in 1900 and was an original tire supplier for the Ford Model-T. Its tires made their first Indianapolis 500 appearance and won in 1911. Work with Ford and other original equipment manufacturers, advertising, reliable products and racing wins helped make the brand known worldwide.

Firestone later merged with Bridgestone. Its range includes long-lasting all-season, performance, SUV, light truck and winter tires for different vehicles at moderate prices.
