It fits OEM power rack-and-pinion systems on the 1974-78 Mustang II and 1974-80 Pinto, also listed as the 74-80 Pinto. The kit is specified for pumps 910-32922-FORD and 910-32908-BLK. Its high-pressure line is 16.5" (16-1/2"), and its low-pressure line is 24"; hose ID is .43" and OD is .67".
An early GM pump used with a Mustang II rack also requires flow reducer valve 910-32918 to address twitchy steering. The return hose can be cut to length. The hose assemblies are offered as a lower-cost alternative to stainless steel braided hose kits. The kit does not fit Speedway Motors Ford Thunderbird-style reproduction steering racks.
