17" Fireplace Grate with Ember Retainer, Wood Stove Grate Rack, Heavy Duty Solid Steel 6-Bars Firewood Holder, Non-Assembly Fire Grate for Indoor Hearth Outdoor Firepit - Matt Black

HEAVY DUTY FIREPLACE GRATE WITH EMBER RETAINER: The fireplace grate is made of heavy wrought iron, flat bars are 1 inch wide, 5/16 inch thick. Flat bars hold logs in place better. The fireplace screen/grate has a good weight of 7lbs, it’s durable, thick and well-constructed, easy to clean, just sweep it clean. Ember design makes burning more efficient.

MEASUREMENTS: 13" W x 10" D x 2" (inner height) / 4"(overall height), two long supporting legs are 6 1/8 inches wide, the fireplace grate holds a pile of wood, and makes fire for a long time. SUPERIOR CIRCULATION: The burning wood rack is 2.5" high for easy air circulation and easy heating, this gives enough elevation for the wood to be able to suck a good amount of air from underneath and heat up really good, you can save wood logs, as after wood burning for hours, leave you with a healthy bed of coals on the firebox floor that provide heat in the room but not accelerate the wood burn on logs in the grate.

STURDY STRUCTURE: 4 bars with ember retainer holds all the big pieces of firewood, and most importantly holds smaller pieces of wood as the logs wittle down, the grate retains the embers to maintain the fire. With this grate you literally just through a log on the fire once you get those embers glowing and each log burns evenly and consistently.

NO ASSEMBLY & EASY TO USE: The grate is a strong welded piece, no assembly, stylish and functional, suitable for mid-century or modern inside fireplace, wood burning stove, and also practical for patio fireplace, or outdoor campfires.
