It supports communications with Siemens S7-200, S7-300 and S7-400 PLCs, Siemens touch screens, MPI and DP multi-master communication, ET200 communication, PPI and 840D CNC system programming. The signal is partially isolated through high-speed optical coupling.
It supports WIN7 32-bit and 64-bit systems and V5.5 software without installing a driver for V5.5. The cable uses the Siemens original driver and can be selected directly through USB without generating a serial port. Its protective shell helps resist pressure and drops.
A PTC resettable fuse protects the internal circuitry against overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuits; the USB and RS485 ports also have surge and lightning protection circuitry for industrial use.
