Each conductor is made from 400 tinned copper strands of 0.08 mm, yielding an ultra-soft, highly flexible cable with low impedance for efficient connections. The two colors make polarity identification quick; the red and black wires are separate conductors wound on the same spool (NOTE: the red and black wires are not connected). Built for extreme conditions, this silicone wire has a temperature rating from -140℉ to +392℉ (suitable to 200 deg C) and a rated voltage of 600 volts, offering improved anti-oxidation performance and reduced heat buildup for a longer service life.
