Compact power-coupled grid-tie inverter featuring a built-in limiter sensor that only supplies the power the load requires. The inverter uses MPPT control, so the Vmp (solar panel) must fall within the MPPT range for optimal efficiency. It is compatible with solar panels whose open-circuit voltage (Voc) is 76-90V. An LCD provides status information and fault prompts, and the PV/battery mode is user-adjustable. Designed for grid-connected operation with 48V/60V battery banks, the unit maintains constant battery power while allowing the battery output to be set by the user between 80 and 800 W to match household demand. Multiple protections are built in to protect the inverter and batteries: undervoltage protection to reduce battery capacity fatigue and extend service life; DC over-voltage and over-current protection; AC over-voltage, over-current and over-frequency protection; over-temperature protection; and island protection.
