Designed for high-density short-range installations supporting 10 Gigabit links, this spool contains twelve 50 micron core multimode fibers with a 125 micron cladding. Each fiber uses a Graded-Step core and cladding construction and is wrapped with Aramid yarn for strength, all protected by an aqua PVC outer jacket. Multimode performance is optimized for 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths. The fiber construction meets TIA/EIA 455-220A and IEC 60793-1-49 standards and remains compatible with legacy and LED-based systems per TIA/EIA 455-204 and IEC 607-1-41. This cable is Riser Rated (CMR) and complies with UL-1666, making it suitable for vertical tray applications without environmental air—typical uses include riser cable runs between floors or in elevator shafts. The jacket self-extinguishes and resists upward flame propagation in the vertical burn test. UL rated and RoHS Compliant.
