hejiajiejingxuan dried mealworms are listed as Wild Bird Food in the 11 lbs size. The 11LBs pack contains 100% natural, non-GMO mealworms without preservatives or additives. The mealworms are fed bran, pumpkin, carrots and other vegetables, without animal matter or GMO feed.

Listed amounts are crude protein (minimum) 50%, crude fat (minimum) 25% and crude fiber (maximum) 7%; the source also describes vitamins and edible oils. The seller says feeding them to chickens can improve egg quantity and quality and that feeding them during fall molting can improve feather appearance.

The mealworms are microwave-dehydrated and can be stored in a cool, dry place away from rodents and insects for up to 12 months without refrigeration. For bulk 11LB and 22LB bags without resealable tops, the seller suggests a sealed drum to prevent leaks or cracks. They are also suggested for hens and ducks in winter when they have less access to fresh worms.

Listed animals include chickens, ducks, wild birds, reptiles, turtles, fish, hamsters and hedgehogs. The source specifically names bluebirds, warblers, peacocks, robins, nesters, chickadees, woodpeckers, Carolina wrens and budgies as birds attracted to the dried mealworms. UPC: 541710282251.
