By breaking the thermocline and moving gas from the bottom to the surface, it raises dissolved oxygen, inhibits algae, reduces odors, helps prevent winter surface freezing and keeps debris suspended for filtration, supporting fish and a cleaner pond. The aluminum housing resists rust and corrosion.
