Made in the USA 10 AWG stranded copper electrical wire designed for residential, commercial and industrial use. Conductors are annealed (soft) copper, compressed strand and covered with heat- and moisture-resistant PVC insulation plus a durable nylon jacket. The black THHN/THWN cable is built to be used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders and branch circuits, and is also suitable for machine tool, appliance and control circuit wiring. PVC and Nylon insulation/jacketing improve handling and speed up installation in both wet and dry locations; the wire’s strength, hardness and flexibility make routing and terminations easier on the job. Rated for 600 volts, this wire meets the needs of most common appliances and, when installed as building wire, will fall within most building codes set out in the list of National Electrical Codes.
