Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on, then set the temperature and time with the Temp/Time and ± buttons. The adjustments are ±10°F for temperature and ±5s for time. A short beep signals that heating has started; the green Start light signals readiness.
The built-in timer and LED display show the settings. The heating element distributes heat across the plate, and the instructions recommend moving the press gently back and forth during a transfer. It works with most heat transfer vinyl and has temperature control, overheat protection and an automatic shut-off after more than 10 minutes idle.
