This model 4210 I-beam wrap uses polyurethane foam to cushion minor contact with walls, beams or columns. It is intended for areas behind basketball backstops, wrestling rooms and workout areas.

The standard pad is 6 ft tall, matches the I-beam flange width and has a 1-inch return on each side. Pads are offered for 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-inch beams. Unpadded vinyl flaps have a 2-inch loop fastener that wraps around the beam; adhesive hook fasteners are supplied for attachment. The pad has 2" thick, 3.5-lbs. density polyurethane foam cemented to 7/16" oriented strand board.

Its 14-oz polyester-laminated vinyl cover is stapled to the backing every two inches. The vinyl meets NFPA 701, ASTM E84 and CSFM flame-retardance requirements.
