Poe Dameron appears in color and relief on the reverse with the Rebel Starbird engraved behind him. Agoro by New Zealand Mint released the medal. George Lucas introduced Star Wars in 1977; by 2021 it was the fifth-highest-grossing media franchise. The franchise spans films, comics, television, video games and theme park attractions, with characters including R2-D2, Darth Vader and Yoda.

New Zealand Mint rebranded its collectible business as Agoro while continuing its bullion trading under the New Zealand Mint name. Agoro focuses on collectible coins and foils in gold and silver. Its name combines "Ag," the chemical symbol for silver, and "oro," the Spanish and Italian word for gold.

Its designs draw on franchises including Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, HARRY POTTER, DC Comics and THE LORD OF THE RINGS. The company behind Agoro remains the same. The source also labels the item "Bar Silver."
