The optic exaggerates depth perception by pulling foreground subjects closer and making distant objects recede toward the horizon. Manufacturing uses advances in high-index/low-dispersion optical glasses, updated barrel materials and anti-reflection coatings, together with the latest computer-aided-design / computer-aided-manufacturing techniques.
