Unbranded EnchantMint 5 Lbs | 2.3 Kg sku-18638611415

Unbranded EnchantMint dry glaze, size 5 Lbs | 2.3 Kg, is listed under Ceramic & Pottery Supplies. SKU sku-18638611415; UPC 741051268734. The glaze is made in the USA and is lead-free, non-toxic, and food safe when properly fired and tested. It is intended for firing in a pottery kiln at cone 5 or cone 6 and can produce colors and effects that differ from low-fire glazes.

Mix settled glaze for at least 1-2 minutes before use. Apply by brush to bisqued pottery, or add a dispersing agent such as Darvan if dipping. Test it first: results vary with firing temperature, clay body, firing speed, and kiln atmosphere. Use a temperature-calibrated pottery kiln at the correct cone, never a kitchen oven.

Over-firing can damage the piece or kiln; under-firing can change the result. Ceramic glazes are grouped as low-fire, mid-fire, or high-fire. The supplied description states that Penguin Pottery products carry a lifetime warranty with a refund or replacement for issues.
