Each valve has Schedule 40 walls, a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (about 1.0 MPa) at 73 °F, and female NPT threaded connections. The threads allow installation without glue and later disassembly; use Teflon tape or compatible thread sealant for a leak-tight seal. A machined ball, resilient seals and a shock-resistant ABS handle provide quarter-turn operation.
